My project was an elevated 14’X16’ Deck on a steep slope in the San Mateo hills.  The deck supports were destroyed by weather and insects. I interviewed several contractors but settled on WL Pro Builders.  WL Pro Builders helped in securing an Engineer, assisted with the permit (a very difficult process), and finished the project on time and in budget.
I am extremely happy with the way the project turned-out even though there were several issues uncovered during the project, WL Pro Builders were very easy to deal with and helpful in resolving all the issues.  A very important service WL Pro Builders provided was a message link between myself, management, onsite foreman, and the crew, keeping all of us with the same expectations. I loved working with this company! They built a Dasso deck and staircase and ceramic tile patio for us. They did really quality work, and our deck and patio look beautiful!  We really benefited from their advice on the design and materials. They made a real effort to help us stay within our budget.  All the staff were professional and friendly. They were very responsive, arrived on time, cleaned up, and were willing to accommodate all of our requests. I plan to work with them again on an additional project. They even worked us into their schedule early so we could pass final inspection on our home addition and move in sooner. Just great! I highly recommend this company for a deck or patio project. The WL pro builders team was great to work with. From the design conception to construction, the communication has been very straightforward.
We got WL Pro Builders to create an outdoor kitchen for us, and we could not be more thrilled about the project’s success. The initial consultation was very insightful as they brought together different members of their team to help us think through what works, things we want, and the limitations of our space and its future construction.
We really liked how WL handled everything from the design to getting materials, even electrical work.
We enjoyed working with the team because they were all very friendly and passionate about what they do. The team is very hardworking and punctual. It’s easy to tell that each member of the team is valued and it really shows with how everyone interacts.
They were very upfront with setting expectations for us, which really helped with the design and financial decision. The materials they used for our project were of great quality, and this is something that is a definite plus for us.
Shoutout to Leo and Rodrigo and the rest of the team for executing a beautiful design (by Renan).

I had the pleasure of working with WL Pro Builders on a comprehensive home improvement project, and I can't praise them enough. Wesley and Lucas, the owners, set the bar high for professionalism and expertise. Their attention to detail was evident from the very beginning.

Bryan, the main contractor, was a true standout. He was not only friendly and polite but also incredibly knowledgeable. He possessed all the qualities I could hope for in a contractor. Throughout the project, he demonstrated a deep understanding of the work and was always available to answer my questions.

The complexity of our project was handled with thoughtfulness and careful consideration. WL Pro Builders managed to sequence everything flawlessly, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This approach also helped them stay on schedule, with only minor delays that were quickly addressed.

One of the things that impressed me was the fair and competitive pricing. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I felt like I received excellent value for my investment. They tackled a wide range of tasks, from repaving the driveway to creating an outdoor kitchen, hardscaping, installing turf,  installing new fencing, lighting, exterior painting, correcting a retaining wall, constructing new stairs, and even planting new plants throughout the whole property.

W/L rebuilt a deck using Timbertech for me and did an outstanding job.  A shout out to Angel and Thomas who were the primary workers.  They were very diligent, excellent workmanship and just very pleasant people.  The guys cleaned up everynight before they went home and finished the job early (even with a few change orders). I just had a new 516 square foot, bi level deck, surrounding planter box, and pergola installed in my backyard by WL Pro Builders.  I highly recommend this company for your outside projects.  From my very first phone call to the finish of the job, and post follow up, this company was outstanding to work with.  Andre, sales, came out here on the initial visit, looked at my old deck, made some suggestions, filled me in on their company and what they would do for me, and kept in constant touch with me.  Not to mention, helping me with a very frustrating situation I had with the previous deck.  Rennan, designer, gave me some very creative ways to improve the look of the deck which I took every single one of his ideas, and he also designed the pergola.  The team was very responsive, paid attention to details, completed the job on time and kept me informed all the way through.  Their customer service is top notch.  Their communications with me were excellent.  No surprises.  So professional.  Not only did we have a few meetings with the team here at the house, but we were all on a group text.  I could not have asked for more in a company.  This company takes pride in their work and cares about their client.  I’d like to thank Andre, Rennan, Leo, Lucas, Wesley and a big shout out to Angel and Tomas, two very hardworking guys.  Barbara, admin staff, thank you too. If you want it done right! We live in a 1400 square feet home in San Mateo. Our 400 square foot deck in our back yard was made of redwood and in bad shape. After giving up on contractors that didn't even return my call or just didn't have the vibe, I discovered WL pro builders . This pretty much wrapped the deal. I met with Andre and Lucas, Andre advised me of all the possibilities and options. After much thought we decided to go with a dark brown timber tech material. He assured me we could get the old deck taken out, replace all framing and joists and replace with timber tech in a week. I felt I was I good hands and they were sincere, and very professional. The choice of not going with wood was obvious. I had spent many hours repairing and patching the redwood deck , with this decision I am going to be at peace for what came with the new material a 30 year warranty. The job was done with detail, professional, clean, and meticulous way with Jesus the lead carpenter and his assistants. The new material was delivered and they went to work, and needless to say the job was done promptly and on time. Let's not forget, Rennan, and Wesley. All the crew just showed care and were kind and easy to get along with. I just can't say enough about how happy we as a family are with this experience. I am excited to share our experience working with WL Pro Builders on a recent landscaping project. Our initial project design was created by Yardzen, and subsequently supplemented with structural design details provided by an engineer with whom we had worked previously. By the time WL Pro Builders were brought on board, they were only provided with a permitted set of CAD drawings for a part of the project. Despite these limitations, they excelled at bringing our vision to life, illustrating their capabilities in both interpretation and execution. The project was complex and involved the construction of a cantilevered deck that was situated precariously close to multiple pre-existing retaining walls. The task demanded intricate manual cutting of concrete footings, a challenge necessitated by the need to avoid any damage to the retaining walls. The design also called for the inclusion of 10ft deep piers for sturdy deck support. WL Pro was able to execute on these requirements even amidst the heavy rain spells that were prevalent in the early months of 2023. What set the WL Pro team apart was not just their technical expertise but their consistent professionalism and positive attitude throughout the project. This admirable attitude was exhibited from the project leaders, Lucas and Wesley, down to each and every crew member who arrived at our home each day. They maintained an open line of communication, very responsive to text messages and emails, were always polite, and receptive to our concerns. The team's work ethic was great. They were punctual, showing up on site as scheduled every day. They handled unforeseen breaks in construction, caused by factors such as material shortages, weather issues, or inspection-related delays well, providing us with a clear schedule for when they would return, and consistently sticking to it. In a landscape where stories abound of contractors leaving jobs incomplete and not returning for weeks, we found WLPro's commitment to professionalism to be refreshing. I would like to extend particular appreciation to Bryan, the foreman who oversaw the day-to-day work. Bryan was not only a pleasure to work with, but his skills as a woodworker were commendable. He successfully designed and built two beautiful decks (one of which required meticulous framing to avoid damaging tree roots) and a bench, all within spaces that posed awkward angles. Bryan's craftsmanship and creative problem-solving skills were certainly at the heart of the successful completion of our project. We wholeheartedly recommend WL Pro Builders for any complex landscaping project. They worked on my upper deck done that was horribly done by another contractor and also replaced part of the concrete in my driveway. They exceeded my expectations and are truly professionals. We have looked for a contractor to build a pergola to replace the hot top on an area where our 650 gallon hot top surrounded with Trex Transcent Lineage deck. We have spent over four months to talked to many contractors, listened to their ideas, recommendations, studied the proposals, designs and finally we decided to choose WL Pro Builders to do the work and we are extremely happy with their work, process, communication, schedules, project management, closure, budget control, and workmanship. Everything is excellent and first rate. The quality of the design and end product are excellent. This is a very professional team, knowledgeable, good skill, hardworking, courtesy and responsible. When we asked them to give us a quote, Lucas came with Andre and patiently listened to our thoughts and subsequently Andre came back three more times to talked to us hoping to transform our concept to a design. Andre and Lucas spent time with us and used 3D computer tool and came up with the final design after many iterations of design changes. When the project was moved from the design phase to the development phase Wesley brought the working team over to introduce them to us and explained their development process to us. Wesley managed the working team and briefed us regularly. He has assigned Bryan as the on-site foreman for this phase. Bryan is an excellent worker, with outstanding carpentry. The team kept the working place clean so their work would not interrupt or damage to the existing landscape. The deck and pergola have blended in with the existing landscape beautifully. Working with WL Pro Builders was great from start to finish. As most big jobs. We did run into some issues but issues were resolved. We appreciate all the hard work and working with us to make the necessary changes to the project. Workers were very respectful and always left the job sight clean after a long day of work. Very responsive and communicated with questions we had throughout the project. We've went through numerous bids and engineering design to finally get what we've been dreaming about. We highly recommend WL and the quality of work they do. Can't wait for summer to come along to enjoy our epic backyard. Thanks!
